Sænska heimildamyndin Israel Palestina på svensk tv 1958–1989 er tilnefnd til kvikmyndaverðlauna Norðurlandaráðs 2025. 

Hér er um að ræða óviðjafnanlega kvikmyndalega lýsingu á aðdraganda átakanna milli Ísraels og Palestínu, sögð með einstökum upptökum sem vekja sterka innlifun áhorfenda og sem lengi vel lágu ósnertar í geymslum sænska ríkissjónvarpsins. Eftir leikstjóra heimildamyndanna The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975 og Om våld.

The Swedish documentary Israel Palestina på svensk tv 1958–1989 has been nominated for the 2025 Nordic Council Film Prize.

This is an unparalleled cinematic account of the background to the conflict between Israel and Palestine, told through unique archival footage that evokes powerful immersion for the viewer. Much of the material had long remained untouched in the archives of Swedish public television.

The film is directed by the filmmaker behind the acclaimed documentaries The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975 and Om våld.
