Month of European Film
For four weeks, the Month of European Film, Europe’s own film and award season, celebrates the fantastic diversity of European film. Across Europe, thanks to our partner Europa Cinemas, flagship cinemas in 35 countries from Reykjavik to Athens, from Lisbon to Bucharest, but also including small towns and networks, highlight European films, presenting special programs, events and dedicated retrospectives.
Bíó Paradís will screen all the films nominated as best picture at the European Film Awards during the Month of European Film! Bíó Paradís will also host special Q and A screenings with honorary awards recipients and special guests of the European Film Awards, as well as many special events highlighting the best of European cinema.
This event is held in cooperation with The European Film Academy, The City of Reykjavík and Ministry of Culture in Iceland.
