Myndin fjallar líf og dularfullan dauða, hollenska listmálarans Vincent Van Gogh. Myndin er öll handmáluð í stíl við verk þessa heimsfræga listmálara. Fjöldi myndlistarmanna tóku þátt í að skapa þau rúmlega 65,000 málverk sem halda uppi verkinu og um er að ræða stórkostlega upplifun á hvíta tjaldinu.

Myndin er sýnd sem hluti af sumardagskrá Bíó Paradís í maí 2018.

In a story depicted in oil painted animation, a young man comes to the last hometown of painter Vincent van Gogh to deliver the troubled artist’s final letter and ends up investigating his final days there.

Each of the film’s 65,000 frames is an oil painting on canvas, using the same technique as Van Gogh. Premiered March 2018 in Bíó Paradís.
