Kvikmyndin sækir innblástur sinn í texta Roland Barthes A Lover´s Discourse: Fragments. Sól í Hjarta opnaði Director´s Fortnight á kvikmyndahátíðinni í Cannes 2017 þar sem hún hlaut SACD verðlaunin.

Sýnd með enskum texta í ágúst 2018 sem hluti af sumardagskrá Bíó Paradís.

Isabelle (Juliette Binoche), Parisian artist, divorced mother, is looking for love, true love at last.

The film is inspired by Roland Barthes’s 1977 text A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments.  It opened the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. At Cannes in won the SACD Award.

Screened with English subtitles in August 2018 at Bíó Paradís.
