The Barden Bellas eru skólasystur, og eru saman í stúlknakór sem syngur bara stelpupopplög og leggja mikið upp úr því að líta vel út. Eftir að hafa teksti hrapallega upp við lok skólaárs í fyrra, þá eru þær ákveðnar í að taka aftur upp þráðinn nú.
