Pólska sendiráðið á Íslandi býður til Pólskrar kvikmyndaviku dagana 7. – 11. nóvember.
Dagskráin er tileinkuð 100 ára afmæli sjálfstæðs Póllands og samanstendur af einstöku úrvali kvikmynda þar sem tónlist er í forgrunni, og sýnir pólska menningu og samfélag á mismunandi tímabilum síðustu aldar. Dagskráin hefst með þöglu myndinni The Beast (1917) við lifandi undirleik, og endar á árinu 2012 með kvikmyndinni You are God. Á sunnudaginn 11. nóvember er svo verðlaunaafhending fyrir besta myndbandið við Polonaise! Allir velkomnir og frítt inn á allar sýningar.

The Embassy of Poland in Reykjavík presents Polish Film Week in Bíó Paradís, November 7th – 11th.
This year’s edition is a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Independence of Poland: a unique selection of films, where music plays a large role, and represents Polish culture and community through different eras of the last century. The program starts with the silent movie The Beast (1917) with live accompaniment, travels over next decades, until the year 2012 with You are God. On Sunday, Nov. 11, there will be an award ceremony for the best video clip based on the music of Polonaise! Screenings are free to the public and everyone is welcome.
